Meeting between the Minister of Industry, Energy and Mines and a TAA delegation chaired by Mr Nabhen Bouchaala.

During this meeting, the Minister received detailed explanations on the activities of the TAA and its involvement in the improvement and development of the automotive components industry sector and the support of industrial companies, in addition to the examination of the various difficulties encountered in carrying out the programmed plans.

To this end, Mr. BOUCHAALA gave a series of guidelines to boost the sector for improvement, promotion and support, in particular the imperative signature of the Competitiveness Pact.

It was noted that the TAA, as part of the measures put in place in the pact, has already started projects, namely:

• TAMA: Training center dedicated to managers and team leaders in the automotive industries
• The directory of the automotive sector identifying all the players
• Communication on the automotive sector

The Minister welcomed the role played by the TAA and its cooperation with public institutions through their competent bodies, with a view to contributing to the achievement of joint actions.”
