In support of the efforts of the Ministries of Health and Social Affairs as well as all efforts aimed at combating the epidemic and preventing the spread of infection by COVID-19 in industrial companies, in particular those with a important operational capacity, and within the framework of the technical cooperation with the Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, a guide to good health practices for the prevention against COVID-19 has been drawn up by the Direction Générale des Industries Manufacturières, in coordination with the TUNISIAN AUTOMOTIVE ASSOCIATION – TAA and under the aegis of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mines. This activity was carried out within the framework of the project “Employment partnership and support for medium-sized enterprises in Tunisia” supported by the Special Initiative for Training and Employment – Invest for Jobs – of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) . This guide will allow industrial establishments to optimally apply the health protocol inside and outside their entities, taking into account the type of activity and the industrial zone in which they are located. The development of this guide is part of the preservation of the sustainability of work in institutions active in the automotive components sector, given its significant operational and exporting capacity with distinction, especially since the sector includes approximately 280 industrial establishments. which provide about 90,000 direct jobs and an export volume of more than 7 billion dinars per year. In order to simplify the use of this guide, explanatory and awareness-raising publications have been developed which integrate good health practices in a simple manner and which are distributed to agents of institutions active in the field.
