LAUNCH OF THE TUNISIAN REFERENTIAL FOR THE AUTOMOTIVE COMPONENTS INDUSTRY
The Tunisian Automotive Association, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the European Union in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mines and the National Institute of Statistics and in partnership with Cabinet Ernest & Young are pleased to announce the official launch of the National Repository of the Tunisian Automotive Industry intended to give better visibility to the sector. The project aims to develop a map of companies operating in the sector as well as key indicators of related activities. The Tunisian automotive industry, a lever of economic growth for more than 20 years, the number of active companies of which is around 300 local and international operators. Despite the importance of the automotive components industry sector, Tunisia shows a significant lack of data relating to its activities and actors, which remain undistinguished from the rest of the manufacturing industries. Consequently, today, indicators relating to the mechanical, metallurgical, electrical or electronic industries remain the only sources of information available to measure the performance and potential of the sector in the country. The establishment of a sector dashboard therefore seems to be essential for
- Collect, measure and disseminate objective statistical data and key performance indicators in order to understand the situation of the automotive industry sector in Tunisia.
- Allow a global view of the components of the sector and the ecosystem with a clear vision of their activities
- Promote the sector: promote, communicate and educate customers and investors in the automotive industry about the opportunities of the sector in Tunisia.

The Repository of the Tunisian Automotive Industry
Available directly online on the TAA website, this repository aims to bring together all the operators present to guarantee a finer level of information to any interested investor.
In the long term, this reference system aims to be a privileged source of indicators directly from companies
The Automotive Industry Dashboard
Soon available on the TAA website, the dashboard is the result of extensive information collection from various statistical authorities.
This dashboard provides sector-specific indicators and will be updated quarterly
