Through the signing of a new environmental partnership within the framework of the "Green Sponsorship" program, LEONI Tunisia confirms the growing maturity of the Tunisian automotive sector in terms of environmental responsibility and sustainable development.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Mohamed Arbi Rouis, Managing Director and SVP of LEONI Tunisia, under the supervision of Mr. Sofiane Tanfouri, Governor of Sousse, illustrating a structured collaboration between industrial players and public authorities in the service of common environmental objectives.
This initiative is part of a broader movement within the Tunisian automotive industry, which is increasingly integrating ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) issues into the heart of its industrial strategies. It aims in particular to encourage concrete actions to protect the environment, reduce the ecological footprint of industrial activities, and support local initiatives with a sustainable impact.
Beyond LEONI Tunisia's commitment, this partnership reflects the ability of the Tunisian automotive sector to align itself with international standards, to strengthen its attractiveness to investors and to demonstrate that industrial performance and environmental responsibility can evolve in a complementary way.
Through this type of initiative, the Tunisian automotive sector confirms its role as a strategic lever for national economic development, while actively contributing to the objectives of sustainability and ecological transition, which have become essential in global value chains.
