The Tunisian Tire Manufacturing Company (STIP) was established on July 21, 1980. Its purpose is the manufacture and sale of tires. STIP is the sole tire manufacturer in Tunisia. The company has two production facilities: one in M'saken and one in Menzel Bourguiba. Production capacity is approximately 650,000 tires per year, or 15,100 tons, with the potential to increase this to 1 million tires per year.
