As part of the preparation of the Research-Innovation & Industry Programme (PR2I) 2026 , the Tunisian Automotive Association (TAA) , in partnership with the Mecatronic Tunisia Cluster (CMT), organised a strategic matching workshop bringing together industrial companies, research centres and universities.
This workshop is part of the TAA's mission: to structure the Tunisian automotive ecosystem, accelerate industrial innovation and strengthen synergies between academic research and industrial needs.
A concrete mechanism at the service of industrial innovation
Hosted by the Collaborative Research Centre of Central University Tunisia, the event made it possible to create an operational space for networking and co-creating projects with high technological potential.
Through this initiative, the TAA aims to:
Facilitating connections between industrial companies and research structures eligible for PR2I 2026
Identify concrete industrial problems that can be transformed into structured collaborative projects.
Pre-configure consortia that comply with the requirements of the PRF and PRIA devices
Supporting the preparation of projects prior to the official launch of the PR2I call for proposals (scheduled for no later than March 6, 2026)
Structuring competitive consortia for PR2I 2026
In a context where technological innovation, applied R&D and sustainable industrialization have become strategic levers of competitiveness, the TAA is strengthening its role as an interface between industry, universities and research centers.
The objective is clear: to transform the industrial challenges of the Tunisian automotive sector into funded collaborative projects capable of generating technological, economic and scientific value.
Call for mobilization of academic and industrial stakeholders
The TAA invites universities, laboratories, research centers and industrial companies wishing to:
Propose a research topic
Joining a consortium that is currently being structured
Participate in the next matching sessions
to contact our teams in order to receive the registration form and the terms of participation.
Through this type of initiative, the Tunisian Automotive Association consolidates its position as a catalyst for innovation and a key player in the development of collaborative research in the Tunisian automotive industry.
