As part of the 22nd edition of the Tunisia Investment Forum (TIF 2026), the Tunisian Automotive Association (TAA), in partnership with FIPA Tunisia and Cluster Mecatronic Tunisia, organized a strategic workshop dedicated to the transformations that are shaping the future of the Tunisian automotive industry.

This meeting brought together the main actors of the ec The objective was to share a common vision of the challenges and opportunities that will accompany the next generation of mobility and to strengthen Tunisia's positioning within global value chains.

Faced with the acceleration of technological, environmental and industrial transformations

On 24 and 25 June 2026, the Tunisia-Italy Economic and Business Forum brought together institutional representatives, investors and business leaders in Tunis to consolidate economic relations between the two countries and identify new opportunities for industrial cooperation and investment.

On this occasion, Myriam Elloumi, President of Tunisian Automotiv Thanks to an efficient industrial ecosystem, a skilled workforce and strong integration into European markets, Tunisia confirms its attractiveness to Italian manufacturers wishing to develop or diversify their supply chains.

The forum also highlighted the many opportunities for collaboration in the areas of mobility, industrial digitization, high-value production

The Tunisian Automotive Association (TAA) had the honor of welcoming His Excellency Mr. Bill Bazzi, U.S. Ambassador to Tunisia, and a U.S. delegation accompanied by Mr. Marouane BEN JEMAA, President of AmCham Tunisia, for a meeting dedicated to cooperation opportunities between the Tunisian and American automotive ecosystems.
The delegation was received by Mrs. Myriam Elloumi, President of the TAA, and Mr. Nabhen Bouchaala, Honorary President, in the presence of Board members Mr. Jemli Issam and Mr. riadh ben ayed, as well as Mrs. Fatma Kolsi, General Manager of the TAA.

Discussions identified several high-potential areas of collaboration, industrial partnerships, innovation, skills development and the integration of Tunisian companies into global value chains. Beyond economic opportunities, the meeting reaffirmed the value of dialogue between institutions and private-sector players in advancing structuring projects and deepening Tunisia–U.S. ties.
As the reference platform for Tunisia’s automotive industry, the TAA continues its mission of building bridges between companies, investors, and international partners to support an ever more competitive, innovative, and globally connected sector.
