4ᵉ édition des Rencontres Sectorielles du CETIME : la TAA mobilisée pour accélérer la transition industrielle
On March 26, 2026, CETIME organised, at the UTICA headquarters, the 4th edition of the Sectoral Meetings dedicated to the electrical, electronic and mechatronic industries.
This strategic event brought together key players in the industrial ecosystem, including the Tunisian Automotive Association (TAA), alongside key partners such as FEDELEC , ELENTICA , Cluster Méchatronics Tunisia , Novation City , INSAT and TUNAC .
A clear positioning: to transform the energy transition into a lever for competitiveness
Placed under the theme:
“CETIME, your strategic partner for a successful energy and ecological transition”
This edition marks a deliberate shift: moving from a logic of reflection to a logic of execution.
The stated objective is to make the energy transition a driver of industrial performance, and not a regulatory constraint.
Strong mobilization of the Tunisian industrial ecosystem
The event confirmed a clear trend:
ESG issues are no longer peripheral; they are becoming central to the strategies of industrialists.
Public institutions, manufacturers, research centers, clusters and technical partners have converged around a common goal:
to structure concrete responses to the challenges of decarbonization and energy efficiency.
In this context, the Tunisian Automotive Association actively contributed to the discussions, in line with its positioning:
connecting stakeholders, accelerating transformations and aligning the sector with international standards.
Three strategic axes at the heart of the work
The discussions were structured around three operational pillars:
- ⚡ Energy efficiency and industrial decarbonization
- 🌍 Measuring and managing carbon footprint
- ♻️ Clean production and eco-design
Approach adopted: results-oriented, with a clear focus on implementation.
Concrete and actionable outputs for 2026
The work resulted in the production of high-value deliverables:
- Assessment of sectoral progress since 2025
- Identification of new industrial challenges
- Launch of structuring collaborative projects
- Definition of operational roadmaps for 2026
The result: a tangible acceleration of initiatives related to the energy transition.
Towards a more competitive and sustainable Tunisian industry
This 4th edition confirms CETIME's role as a catalyst for industrial transformation, while consolidating public-private synergies.
For the Tunisian Automotive Association, the issue is clear:
to position Tunisia as a competitive industrial hub, aligned with international ESG requirements and integrated into global value chains.
The goal to achieve: to transform ambition into execution, and to make sustainability a lasting competitive advantage.
